I've only had my sewing machine for a couple of years; I'd cry rivers if it ever broke.

[inkihandmade]esquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04391956798898675591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6061502029448428925.post-62425690293311987522009-10-29T20:12:52.947-07:002009-10-29T20:12:52.947-07:00Too Funny! I have a singer and love it, have had it for a long time, a few years ago I thought I needed a serger, so I bought the top of the line baby lock, only used it a hand full of times, so I guess I really didn't need it, I love my old faithful singer :)

Good luck :) regards, T.T@PoppyPlacePdxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17473955741985811943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6061502029448428925.post-84634674799842311202009-10-29T19:00:42.387-07:002009-10-29T19:00:42.387-07:00Honestly, I think if you had it professionally cle...Honestly, I think if you had it professionally cleaned and tuned it would be almost like new. I know this can be around 100 bucks. Could be a band aid until you decide. Since it is a big decision, this way you won't rush into a machine. Good luck, I have been shopping for a new machine for 2 cleanings now, the repair man says I am wearing out the metal - I think I should be proud.

Good luck!Midnight Creationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03399457941977654619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6061502029448428925.post-18846882260279326152009-10-29T16:26:10.251-07:002009-10-29T16:26:10.251-07:00Hope you get a new machine soon!! ;)Hope you get a new machine soon!! ;)cabin + cubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02140367911174560894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6061502029448428925.post-76137375270925172672009-10-29T15:13:17.738-07:002009-10-29T15:13:17.738-07:00LOL I had and still ahve my 1st sewing machine. I...LOL I had and still ahve my 1st sewing machine. It said NO MORE to me when I had it for...you ready....39 years!!! I got it when I was 9 years old. It made tons of clothes. I cried when I couldn't make it work. I cried for days. The manfriend bought me a Singer. Now I really appreciate it and have used it and used it, but it is not the sewing machine my old Riccar was. My Riccar would sew thru leather. Of course, that is probaly why it quit on me. It made it thru a fire, only had to be cleaned and have new wires put on it. I still have it and one day, I am going to get it out and talk sweet to it and maybe, just maybe we can sew together again!Christie Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07304688541769492212noreply@blogger.com
